William Morris (24 March 1834 – 3 October 1896) was an English textile designer, poet, novelist, translator, and socialist activist. Associated with the British Arts and Crafts Movement, he was a major contributor to the revival of traditional British textile arts and methods of production.

The original of this 

bust of William Morris 

was sculpted by Revival Arts of Bath and each reproduction is hand made and finished in British gypsum plaster giving it a hard, smooth feel.. 

There are objects around the base: Morris wallpaper patterns, paintbrushes, printing press and potters wheel and the Red House designed by the the great Arts and Craftsman.

The etch around the base reads"HAVE NOTHING IN YOUR HOME THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW TO BE USEFUL, OR BELIEVE TO BE BEAUTIFUL”
