Bust of Jane Austen

Hand made and finished in British gypsum plaster.

This bust of Jane Austen was designed and sculpted by Revival Arts of Bath. All reproductions are hand made and finished in fine British gypsum plaster. .

The quotation around the base reads "It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife"

Featuring models around the top of the base from left to right Pemberley house, envelopes & letters, evening dance, Jane Austen house, courting couple, town house, a courting couple.

Each bust is accompanied by a folded Swing tag which is 4.5cm x 2.5cm. The tag has a caricature of Jane Austen with her quotation. The back of the tag explains the quotation and reinforces the fact that the piece is made by hand and in England. The card inside is blank.
