bust of Robert Burns

(25 January 1759 ¬ 21 July 1796).was sculpted by Revival Arts of Bath and each reproduction is hand made and finished in British gypsum plaster giving it a hard, smooth feel.+

Widely regarded as the National poet of Scotland, Robert Burns was a pioneer of the Romantic movement. His poem 'Auld Land Syne' is often sung at Hogmanay.

The base of bust:features Robert Burns 'Should Auld Acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind'

The models around the base of the bust feature from left to right Bagpipes, Plough, Ink well and quill, Book, Whiskey bottle, Candleholder, timorous beastie, Burn's Cottage.

Each bust is accompanied by a folded gift tag which is 4.5cm x 2.5cm. 

The tag has a caricature of Dickens with the quotation. The back of the tag explains the quotation and reinforces the fact that the piece is made by hand and in England. The inside is blank.

It is exactly as advertised and I am impressed with the excellent quality of the product and the level of detail present in the artwork. It will fit in very nicely with its intended purpose (the topper for a Burns-related presentation trophy).
