On April 21 2016, Queen Elizabeth II turns 90. This will be followed by celebrations to mark the event on May 12 to 15 and a Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral on June 10 and a Birthday Parade on Horse Guards Parade the following day.

We are thrilled to be able to offer for sale, a

commemorative jigsaw

to celebrate the

90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth

from jigsaw maker Map Marketing who have been granted the rights to issue one This official portrait of Her Majesty forms part of a small range of photographs specially commissioned by Buckingham Palace as part of the events to mark this momentous and historic occasion.

Unlike most Kings and Queens , Elizabeth was not born to be monarch. It was the abdication of her uncle, King Edward VIII and the subsequent coronation of her father as King George VI that changed her life forever and gave us Britain's longest reigning monarch.

This

limited edition (750) jigsaw

has been issued to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday. Pictured in the splendour of Buckingham Palace the Queen stands alone, resplendent in a white dress and wearing the blue sash, badge and star of the ancient Order of the Garter, founded in 1348 by King Edward III.

Hand crafted in the UK using premium 3mm wood, this 300 piece puzzle features nine "whimsy" pieces, so called because the original jigsaw puzzle craftsmen back in Victorian times used to create the specially-shaped pieces "on a whim." Taking the form of royal symbols - including a crown and a sceptre - these whimsies add to the enjoyment of putting the puzzle together and make it truly unique.

Presented in a premium quality "book box", each heirloom puzzle comes with a certificate to authenticate the puzzle is part of a limited issue.

Completed 300-piece wooden jigsaw measures 32 x 47cm
