See a video of how Tim has modelled some of the World's most famous buildings and how he approached and made a model of The Pantheon wth fantastic detail both outside and inside the building. |
Tim has been making models of architecture in plaster for 19 years. All of the sculptures are made by hand by Tim and his small, dedicated team in Bath. The work is believed to be unique in the world today.
Central to the theme is that of architectural truth. Tim aims to use his love of architecture and model making skills to tell the story of architecture over the centuries.
Some of the models are designed to be used as bookends. Others as stand alone collectors pieces. Of course it's entirely up to you how you use them (though not as a door stop please!)
Many of Tim's models have been produced in the form of bookends - 7inches to 10 inches high and in architectural plaster, weighing 1.5kg to 2.5 kg each. They have blue felt backing and base linings and the "bookends" are completed with metal windows, railings, balconys and roof linings etc as appropriate some even have cast statues!
Whilst making excellent bookends, they are , of course, beautiful models in their own right and will grace any mantlepiece of shelf. They are also highly collectible. |
